You can upload your stops into SimpliRoute with a spreadsheet (normally a .xls file).
You have to:
Format and prepare your spreadsheet. You can download our sample here.
Upload your spreadsheet into SimpliRoute.
Check the addresses are located in the correct location.
Our spreadsheet format have the following columns, which mean:
Title (Required): this can be your client's name, any ID, etc.
Address (Required): the best format is Street Name, Number, Area/District, City.
Load: how much you're delivering at each visit. Make sure the loads correspond with the capacity of each vehicle.
Time window start / time window end: time range in which your clients will be available to receive your deliveries. If the visit can be done at any time, you can leave this field blank.
Service time: how long this visit may take, in minutes. It can be an estimate.
Reference ID: this can be any ID numer. You can use as a tracking number if you have the Communication module set up.
Phone: The driver can see this phone and call directly from their app. If you have the Communication module set up, you'll be able to send automated notifications via SMS. The format is country code, area code, phone number. For example, "+1-626-555-1234"
Notes: additional information you want your driver to have.
Contact name: name of the person waiting for the delivery. The driver will see this name.
Load 2 and load 3: additional units of load. Make sure the loads correspond with the capacity 2 or 3 of each vehicle.
Time window 2: a second time range to set up the availability of your clients.
Priority: it allows you to define visits with priority. You can assign a priority with the following numers:
1 - First of the route (you can only have on Priority First in each route)
2 - Last of the route (you can only have on Priority Last in each route)
3 - High Priority. Use this prioritu to ensure our algorithm prioritizes certain stops over others and they are not left out.
4 - Medium Priority.
5 - Low priority
Required skills: Use skills to to ensure that certain stops will be assigned to certain drivers. If you have several skills per visit, it follow an "AND" logic.
Optional skills: it's the same as required skills, but if you have several, it will follow and "OR" logic.
SMS: this field used to work for the Communications module. This field will no longer exist, as "Phone" has the same function.
Email: If you have the Communication module set up, you'll be able to send automated notifications via email.
