To create new vehicles or make changes to existing ones, go to the platform's Settings menu.
Create New Vehicles
Go to the Vehicles tab in the Settings menu and click New Vehicle.
The form will open on the right, where you can enter:
Name (Required): Vehicle name. This can be the license plate or the name you prefer to display it with.
Capacity (Required): Maximum capacity supported by the vehicle. This field has no unit; you can configure it however you like (kilos, packages, cubic meters, etc.). See this article for more details.
Origin Address (Required): The address where the vehicle's route begins. IMPORTANT: If you start typing, you will see a list of suggested addresses appear. You must select the suggestion to ensure the location is correct.
Coordinates (Latitude and Longitude): Vehicle address using the Latitude and Longitude fields. Both coordinates must be entered.
Capacity 2 (Optional): A second cargo unit.
Capacity 3 (Optional): A third cargo unit.
Destination (Optional): Address to which the vehicle should return at the end of the route. This can be the same as the starting address for the day.
Driver (Optional): Default driver who usually drives that vehicle. This allows the system to know which driver to send the routes to when creating routes.
Schedule (Optional): Specific work schedule for the vehicle. If a vehicle does not have its own work schedule, it will be governed by the general work schedule in Step 1 of the Initial Information. We recommend using this field only for vehicles with special schedules.
Cost (Optional): The cost of each vehicle is considered when optimizing, and lower-cost vehicles are prioritized, even if it means using more lower-cost vehicles (instead of a single, higher-cost vehicle) or using vehicles with a farther home address (and higher mileage).
Skills (Optional): If you're working with skills, here you can choose which skills each vehicle has. Click on them to select them. More information on working with skills here.
You can click Edit on any vehicle if you want to make changes to any of the previously entered data. If you want to delete a vehicle, click the trash can icon. Keep in mind that deleting a vehicle will delete any routes currently assigned to that vehicle, as well as any previous routes associated with it.
Create and Edit Vehicles with Excel Files
At the top right of the vehicle list, you'll find three buttons: Bulk Edit, Upload Vehicles, and Create Vehicle.
To create vehicles in bulk, you must select the vehicle upload button.
You must download the example and complete this Excel template.
You'll then need to load the template by dragging or selecting this already saved file.
To edit your already saved vehicles, you'll need to select the bulk edit button.
You'll need to download the current .xlsx file, make the necessary changes, and re-upload it using the Upload Edited File button. The data will be automatically modified in the platform. It's important not to modify the ID field, as it's the code by which the platform identifies each vehicle.

How can I delete a vehicle?
To delete a vehicle from the platform, go to Settings, Vehicles, My Vehicles, and then select the vehicle you want to delete. You'll see a trash can icon.
It's important to know that this action also deletes all information associated with this vehicle: routes, information on completed visits, photos taken, etc.
If you want to stop seeing the vehicle in the initial list of the Routes module but don't want to lose its history, we recommend creating an "Inactive" vehicle group using the Fleets module.
Can I manage the traffic factor or average speed of vehicles?
Yes, to calculate times, our algorithm assigns an average speed factor to each account. For example, if your fleet is made up of motorcycles and they move faster around the city than a fleet of cars or trucks, you can change this factor so that times are calculated with a higher average speed, in the Settings - Optimizers - Optimization Parameters section.
